Meet Kevin and Abbey
Owners of McArthur's Brew House
Kevin (full time Firefighter) has been a home brewer for the last 15 years. He worked at Thirsty Dog where he learned a lot about brewing beer. They talked about opening a brewery but they were waiting for the right time.
October 2015, Abbey was laid off from her long-time employer of 14 years and
they decided it was the right time to get things started with their brewery. After many searches for the right location, Kevin came across 2721 Front St. This location was perfect because Kevin and Abbey reside in Cuyahoga Falls
with both of their daughters, Gwyneth and Leah. Opening a business in their hometown is the perfect dream!
MBH is a small craft brewery
Kevin and Abbey would spend many countless days and nights getting the brewery ready to open. Finally, in March of 2017 they were ready to open their doors. At first, they started off with a 2 BBL brew system. Since then, they have upgraded their brew system to include a larger 7 BBL fermenter. They plan to add a second 6 BBL fermenter in the near future to keep up with demand.
Summer of 2020, Kevin and Abbey made many upgrades to their patio. You will notice new tables and chairs and picnic tables. Kevin built the beautiful pergola over the patio. They were able to extend their patio into the parking lot which has allowed them to increase seating outside. Heaters are available during those cool autumn nights. You’ll even notice the beautiful flower pots all around the patio area. Abbey’s mom Laurie takes such great care of the flowers.

Drinks: MBH offers 13 taps which consist of MBH beers and a few guest beers.
McArthur’s Brew House is most famous for their Sour Cherry! If you love Sour Patch Kids, then you will love the lingering sweet and tart flavor of the cherries in this delicious beer.
If you are not a beer drinker, they also offer a number of wines and ciders, Boulevard Brewing Company’s Quirk Hard Seltzers and Feisty Mead. Along with a large selection of Bourbon
Food: One year after opening they installed a kitchen. The kitchen is limited but still provides an assortment of options. The menu includes pretzels and beer cheese, loaded nachos, flatbread pizzas, and quesadillas. On occasion, you will see some of the Akron Beacon Journal’s Best Food Trucks in Summit County, including Johnny Lotes Latin Street Corn and Eddie’s Famous Cheesesteaks
Entertainment: On Thursday nights, MBH has Music Bingo on the Patio. During the warmer months, McArthur’s has their own concert series, All Summer Long: Live and Outside on Fridays and Saturdays.
